• Aetna

• Aetna Better Health

• Meridian

• United Healthcare (Optum)

• Tricare

• Medicare

We do not currently accept HMOs

Unbroken Family Counseling charges $300 for initial sessions, and $250 for each subsequent session. We accept cash or credit. For out-of-pocket cost after insurance, we recommend contacting your insurance provider.

We do not offer sliding scale; we do offer a self-pay rate of $100 per session.

No. The practice has no waitlist, though individual clinicians may have one, so we’ll match you with someone who has openings.

With the exception of emergencies, cancellations require a 24-hour notice. If the appointment is not kept or cancelled with a 24-hour notice, you will be charged 50% of our cash fee. This fee is not usually covered by insurance. You are allowed 1 missed session without penalty. Additionally, if you have an established appointment time but miss 3 sessions, you will lose your standing appointment slot. If this happens, you must reach out to our offices to schedule a slot.

Having a therapist that you are able to connect with is very important for your treatment. Asking yourself, “Do I feel comfortable working with this therapist?”, “Do I feel I can be open and honest with them?”, “Is this clinician responsive to my concerns and issues?”, and “Am I confident they are capable of helping me reaching my therapy goals?” are all important questions to be asking yourself. We usually ask you give your therapist 2-3 sessions to get to know them, unless you can tell immediately that you do not fit with them. Be honest with your therapist as it is our job to help you find the right fit. To get an understanding of your first sessions, go to the First Visit page!
