Therapy for Immigrants and Their Families in Chicagoland
Moving to a new country, or growing up between two cultures, can bring stress that's hard to explain to people who haven't lived it. Adjusting to a new culture, being separated from family, juggling different expectations at home and outside it, and questions about identity can all weigh on individuals, parents and kids. Unbroken Family Counseling supports immigrant individuals and families at our Plainfield, Geneva and Downers Grove offices and through telehealth across Illinois, with Spanish-speaking clinicians available.
Our clinicians take time to understand your background, values and family. They help with the stress of adjusting, worry about loved ones far away, family conflict across generations, and finding your own sense of identity. We focus on emotional support and don't provide legal or immigration advice. Sessions are by appointment, and we accept most major insurance plans (including Aetna Better Health, Blue Cross Community, Meridian, BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum, Tricare and Medicare; no HMOs). We also offer a self-pay rate.
