Depression Therapy in Chicagoland
Depression isn't just feeling sad. It can feel like exhaustion, numbness, losing interest in things you used to love, irritability, or a heaviness that won't lift. Unbroken Family Counseling helps teens and adults with depression in Plainfield, Geneva, Downers Grove and Evanston, and through telehealth across Illinois.
Our therapists offer a steady, nonjudgmental place to talk. Together you'll work on understanding what's weighing on you, building coping skills, and taking small, realistic steps forward. Sessions are by appointment, and we accept most major insurance plans (including BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum, Tricare and Medicare; no HMOs). We also offer a self-pay rate.
Call (630) 300-8928 or register at unbrokenfamilycounseling.com/register to get matched with a therapist. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 or call 911.

Common questions
Can I do therapy for depression online?
Yes. All of our clinicians offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth that you can use on a phone, computer or tablet. We recommend checking that your insurance covers telehealth.
What does it cost?
Our fee is $300 for the first session and $250 after that. We accept many insurance plans, and our self-pay rate is $100 per session.
What if my therapist isn't the right fit?
We suggest giving it 2–3 sessions. If it still doesn't feel right, tell us and we'll help you find a better match.
